Styling is about you!

Styling is one of the topics that I had the opportunity to think about again.

I sat down in front of it with a large notepad in front of my nose

and I first started to decipher what styling actually means to me and what it entails.

“Styling is a way to see who you are, without having to speak...”

Styling puts my creative side to work!

Super...!!! Because I love that!

Styling during a photo shoot involves much more than what the customer actually gets.

Sometimes there are hours or days of time leading up to a photo shoot creative process to work out

to a combination between the customer's wishes and my own style...

Especially when working with special materials or colors.

Styling encompasses the complete picture that is created.

The color of the background, the colors used in the clothes, the decorations, the make-up and hairstyling,

the location, the atmosphere, contrasts, setting, the use of props,...

everything counts!

Is it about Makeup and Hairstyling then I like to work with one professionalOf course, this comes with a price tag.

Because the Mua(h) you pay separately in addition to the shoot. But it has a lot advantages to work together with a Mua(h)!

To start with, a Mua(h) looks differently than I do, namely with a professional eye on her own field

and will of course always deliver the best work in her field.

As a photographer I can't compete with that.

The cooperation creates, as it were a creative explosion of two creative souls...

A kind of magic happens.

Which is also very nice, two always see more as one.

A Mua(h) watches during a photo shoot and will pay attention to whether the clothing is still straight.

the hair and make-up are still in good condition and can be corrected if necessary.

This helps me with my full focus to be able to have on photographing and it with the model (the person portrayed) to connect.

To each his own...

The only advantage if I keep the complete styling package with me is

is that it makes a little difference in price for you as a customer. I ask you to arrange make-up yourself...

As the daughter of a hairdresser, I really enjoy working on hair.

This also provides a great opportunity to have contact with each other.

I prefer to work like this pure possible to beautiful pure portraits to come.

But as a creative person I notice that my creative jitters come to life more and more and demand their attention.

I want to dig some more more artistic getting started with the child models for my camera,

so that I can put even more creativity into my work in addition to that beautiful pure portrait!

Styling can enhance the atmosphere of a photo or help tell a story.

The styling is determined and used based on the purpose of the photo.

This is discussed with the customer prior to a photo shoot.

I like to have one calm balance to create in styling during a photo shoot.

A balance in color and materials. And do full justice to my client's face through styling,

because a portrait is all about you!
