Posing while taking a portrait
Posing while taking a portrait works a little differently than when you have your whole body in the picture.
Everything is allowed smaller, softer, calmer.
Of course, you only have the top of your body, which has significantly less movement than the rest of your body.
Your hips, back, legs and arms give you more room to move when you
neck, shoulders and your face
.
And that is precisely what is not included in a portrait photo.
However, even though there is less room to move, there is still room for maneuver
sufficient variety
possible to get one
beautiful series of portraits
to put down yours!
I try to assume as much as possible
natural poses (poses)
, whether you are a man or a woman, a boy or a girl.
The natural look gives the easiest feeling to look at.
Relaxed and soft. And if you smile in the photo, I want to create that real smile!
There is a difference between men and women, the build is different and I personally like to take this into account during a photo shoot.
For example, where I work on location, I will use a
man
to lean casually against a wall or other object, or to "stroll" for a while.
Looking at you as a person, we find attitudes that suit you as a man.
For example, I pay attention to it every now and then
"square", "angular" shapes
emphasize.
What kind of man are you? I invite you to be yourself above all!
Show your tough, raw, nonchalant, soft or charismatic side, just as you are.
For women, I pay more attention to the soft, round shapes that emphasize femininity
.
As I once heard Jan Kooijman say when he photographed a woman:
“Tits forward and ass back.”
That's not that exciting for a portrait, of course, but he still makes me laugh.
It brings out your sexy side.
I love it
in portraits
from at
also the hands
to take with you in the photo, that little bit extra
softness/tenderness
be able to
to emphasize
.
During a photo shoot on location, it can be nice, for example, to touch something with your hands, to walk a bit at a leisurely pace or to lean forward slightly in a feminine manner. Do you already get an image of it?
What kind of woman are you? Do you always smile or do you have that sultry seductive look? Are you Loving and Tender or more of a tough woman?
I also invite you to be completely yourself in front of my camera.
Feel free to vary and move yourself. let an interplay arise between you and me with the camera as a tool for me to capture you at your best! A
interplay
where we both show our best sides, this is possible
magic
work for the photos.
I invite you to feel free to be yourself
.
For me as a photographer it is the most important
while posing
that you feel as much as possible
at ease
may feel.
Express your uncertainties and we will find a way together!
